Biography

Christina joined Champlain College in 2017, and currently serves as the Director of the Conference & Event Center. In this role she leads a team with two primary areas of focus: supporting internal campus events and facilities, and welcoming the numerous guests that the Conference & Event Center is pleased to host on campus. Christina believes in building authentic and lasting relationships with the many repeat customers she works with through personable and efficient communication, an intimate knowledge of the campus she serves, and a solid dose of humor along the way.

Previously, Christina worked in the non-profit arts sector for 10 years including many years engaging with classical musicians in orchestra management. In various roles her work involved fundraising, community-building, and special events. She holds a B.S. in Music Industry with minors in both Business and Women’s Studies from The College of Saint Rose, and an M.B.A. from Champlain College.

A native Vermonter, Christina currently lives on a local farm where she spends her time caring for and being entertained by 200+ pigs and nearly 100 sheep. Her hobbies outside of the barn include knitting, hiking, solo travel exploration, and creating the perfect picnic.

Biography

Kati Christoffel graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle with her B.F.A. in watercolor painting and B.S. in Athletic Training while competing on the cross country ski team. She then commenced a decade of backpacking, adventure, outdoor seasonal work, art making, and as much cross country skiing as she could cram into the time left. Ready to settle down a bit, but not settle, she joined the Champlain College Conference and Events Center in 2025.

Hobbies

I love cross country and telemark skiing, hiking, backpacking, sailing, painting, needle felting, cooking, reading, and telling my cats how perfect they are.

Favorite Local Eateries and Things to do in Vermont

I love the ice cream at Champlain Chocolate, and you can find me cross country skiing at Sleepy Hollow all winter.

Biography

In her role as Event Coordinator, Hannah offers logistical and on-site support to the many events that the Conference & Event Center hosts year-round on Champlain College’s scenic campus.

From coordinating conferences to celebrations to residential summer programs, she enjoys working closely with guests to ensure that the details of their events are executed seamlessly – and to do so, she has the pleasure of collaborating with a variety of teams across campus.

Before joining Champlain College in 2022, Hannah worked in academic publishing as well as held various roles pertaining to the planning and promotion of collegiate and corporate events. She holds a B.A. in English and Music from St. Lawrence University and an M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Wyoming.
